Congratulations on a great competition!
The Town of Old Fort, North Carolina, and the Arrowhead Artists and
Artisans League held the second annual Battle of the Brushes, a plein
air competition, September 12-16, 2012. The event culminated with an
art show and sale at the Old Fort Train Depot and Museum

Old Fort supports the Arts!
Fort is a NC Mountain Heritage Trout Town surrounded by the Pisgah
National Forest and filled with history. Within 5 miles of downtown
choose subjects ranging from historic homes, to a replica pioneer fort,
trout streams, water falls, a 19th century railroad depot, the Royal
Gorge or any site inside the Curtis Creek Recreation Area where you'll
find thousands of protected acres.
